Abroadly Privacy Policy

Abroadly helps applicants plan study, work, and migration pathways. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who processes it for us, how long we keep it, and how you can delete your account.

Information We Collect

Account information: email address, Firebase user ID, display name, authentication status, and password authentication handled by Firebase Authentication.

Profile information: information you enter in your application profile, including name, nationality, destination preferences, study, work, migration goals, education, employment, English language details, funding details, family or children information where provided, and other answers submitted through the profile wizard.

Uploaded media: profile images or supporting media that you choose to upload.

Messages and support content: chat messages between you and Abroadly administrators or support staff, selected pathway details, application status, and timestamps.

Payment information: pathway fee, payment status, selected pathway, Stripe payment identifiers, and payment completion timestamps. Abroadly does not store full card numbers. Card and wallet payment details are processed by Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and their payment partners.

Technical information: device, app, network, crash, diagnostic, security, and log information generated by Firebase, Stripe, Apple, Google, or app platform services as needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

How We Use Information

We use your information to create and secure your account, save your profile, review your application, recommend study, work, or migration pathways, process payments, unlock paid app features connected to your selected pathway, provide chat support, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, and improve Abroadly.

Third-Party Processors

We use Firebase services from Google for authentication, cloud database storage, file storage, app infrastructure, and related security or diagnostic services. We use Stripe for payment processing. Apple and Google may process payment, device, platform, and App Store related information when you use their services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate Abroadly, when required for payment processing, when needed to provide support or application guidance, when required by law, or to protect users, Abroadly, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Retention

We keep account, profile, upload, payment status, and chat information while your account is active or as long as needed to provide Abroadly. If you delete your account, we delete your Firebase Authentication account, profile document, uploaded profile media, chat document, and chat messages from active systems. Some records may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, payment records, fraud prevention records, tax records, dispute records, or legal compliance archives where required.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Home, Account & Legal, Delete Account. Deletion requires your password to confirm identity. If you cannot access your account, contact us at support@abroadly.app and include the email address linked to the account.

Your Choices

You can choose not to provide optional profile information, but some features may not work without required information. You may request access, correction, deletion, or support by contacting support@abroadly.app.

Children

Abroadly is intended for users who can lawfully create an account and use migration, study, or work planning services. Do not submit information for a child unless you have legal authority to do so and the information is necessary for your own application profile.

International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries where Abroadly, Firebase, Stripe, Apple, Google, or their service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Security

We use Firebase Authentication, access controls, and provider security features to help protect information. No system is completely secure, so you should use a strong password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available at https://form-app123.web.app/privacy-policy.html and in the app.
